Lionel Deluy sells signed, numbered fine art prints and accepts commission enquiries through this website. This page explains what personal information the site collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to have it removed.
The site is small and so is this policy. There is no advertising network on it, no third-party tracking, and no sale of personal information.

What the site collects
When you send a print enquiry. Your name, your email address, your message, and your phone number if you choose to give it. The phone field is optional and an enquiry is answered whether or not it is filled in.
When you subscribe to the newsletter. Your email address, and the fact that you checked the consent box. The box is never pre-checked.
When you simply browse. Aggregate visit counts only. The analytics built into this site's hosting platform sets no cookies, creates no persistent identifier, and stores nothing that identifies a person. It reports how many people visited a page, not who they were.
One item stored on your device. The opening animation records, in your browser's local storage, that you have already seen it, so that it does not play again on every page. This entry holds no personal information and never leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
Why the site collects it
Enquiry details are used to answer the enquiry and, where a conversation follows, to prepare and fulfil an order. Newsletter addresses are used to send announcements of new releases and available editions, and nothing else. Aggregate visit counts are used to understand which works and which pages hold attention.
For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the lawful basis is consent for the newsletter, and the performance of a contract or a legitimate interest in responding to a commercial request for enquiries.
What the site does not do
Personal information is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers. There is no advertising pixel, no behavioural profiling, and no automated decision-making. Newsletter messages carry no open or click tracking.
Who else sees it
The website is built and hosted on Framer (Framer B.V.). Form submissions pass through Framer's infrastructure, which runs on Amazon Web Services, and Framer acts as a processor under a data processing agreement that provides recognised safeguards for transfers outside the European Economic Area. Framer's own privacy documentation is published at framer.com/legal.
Form submissions are also copied to a spreadsheet hosted by Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), which acts as a processor for that storage.
Submissions can also be read inside the site's editing tool by the small number of people who work on this website. Access is limited to those people.
Email sent to and from contact@thedeluyarchive.com is handled by a mailbox provider located in the United States.
No one else receives your information, unless disclosure is required by law.
How long it is kept
Print enquiries: for as long as the exchange is live, and then twelve months after the last message, after which the record is deleted. Where an enquiry leads to a sale, order and edition records are kept longer, because a record of who owns which numbered print is part of the provenance of the work and may be required for tax and accounting purposes.
Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, and no longer.
Aggregate visit counts: they contain no personal information and are not tied to any individual.
Copies. What you send reaches more than one place: the email that notifies of the submission, and the spreadsheet that records it. A request to delete covers every copy, not one of them.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to contact@thedeluyarchive.com and the request will be answered within thirty days.
Every newsletter message carries a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing takes effect within ten business days.
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you and how it is used, the right to have it deleted, the right to have inaccurate information corrected, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. This site does not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California law, so there is nothing to opt out of.
If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect messages already sent.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. This site does not track visitors across other websites, so there is nothing for the signal to switch off, and no response is made to it.
Children
The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.
Security
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in the destinations described above. No system is perfectly secure, and no absolute guarantee is offered.
Changes to this policy
Any change is published on this page and the effective date at the top is updated. Where a change materially affects how personal information is used, a notice is placed on this page for thirty days before it takes effect, and subscribers are told by email.
